Son tres&nbsp;<strong>registros prospectivos<\/strong>&nbsp;de pacientes que han sufrido accidentes cerebrovasculares con el objetivo de evaluar las caracter\u00edsticas de dichos pacientes. Concretamente,&nbsp;<strong>se centra en pacientes con diagn\u00f3stico de ictus isqu\u00e9mico<\/strong>&nbsp;dentro de 7 d\u00edas desde el inicio de los s\u00edntomas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Se recogieron datos sociodemogr\u00e1ficos,&nbsp;<\/strong>sobre<strong>&nbsp;historia cl\u00ednica, tratamientos<\/strong>, etc. Los pacientes fueron contactados a los 3, 6 y 12 meses desde el ictus. El objetivo primario fue valorar un mal resultado funcional a los 12 meses. Otros objetivos incluyeron la mortalidad y la p\u00e9rdida de a\u00f1os de vida ajustados por discapacidad. Finalmente, se analizaron los datos de 42564 pacientes (34% de mujeres).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Las&nbsp;<strong>mujeres<\/strong>&nbsp;tuvieron&nbsp;<strong>resultados funcionales<\/strong>&nbsp;significativamente&nbsp;<strong>peores<\/strong>&nbsp;a los 12 meses en comparaci\u00f3n con los hombres en el periodo&nbsp;<strong>de 2007 a 2013<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>pero la disparidad se atenu\u00f3<\/strong>&nbsp;por completo&nbsp;<strong>de 2015 a 2018<\/strong>, lo que se podr\u00eda deber a la mejora en la cobertura sanitaria y tratamientos. Esta diferencia temporal por sexo no fue estad\u00edsticamente significativa para la mortalidad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Varios factores sociodemogr\u00e1ficos y cl\u00ednicos contribuyeron a la diferencia por sexo<\/strong>.
